Let’s get the facts straight; the church never burned any witches at the stake.
What they did burn were women, alive, who the church claimed were witches. There are no such things as witches or witchcraft. It is a fabrication from a delusional belief. Why do I need to explain this? 
Without the psychosis and stupidity of superstition those condemned women would have had a chance to lead happy, fulfilling lives.
