Let's see, what are some of the kind, considerate and compassionate things done in the name of religion...well there's the Crusades, and the estimated killing of 3-5 MILLION people, the inquisition, the witch hunts, the Roman persecution of Christians, Buddhist human sacrifices, Aztec human sacrifices, Islamic Jihads (9-11) and even America's Civil war (both north and south believed God had ordained the war, including ministers! But God "loves" his children...right??
