I believe (isn't it funny to hear an atheist say believe) this is one of the biggest conundrums in Christianity: God created us with free will, but then he created Satan (the snake) to tempt us, and of course, having created us, knowing human nature and the future, he let us be tempted, (and then he gets upset, chucks a tantrum and throws us out of Eden). So, not only did he arrange for Adam and Eve to fail in Eden, but he never gave us a chance to be anything but what we are.
So moving on the the future, now, the bible and church say: God gives us free will, but, in order to go to heaven, we have to use our free will to give up our free will and live the way God wants us to. BUT, if we use our God-given right to our free will, its fine, you'll just go straight to hell do not pass go do not collect $200 dollars...
Did I miss something here? Or did the dictionary simply get the meaning of free will wrong?
