Another notion is that Jesus healed ten lepers. Leprosy today in our industrialized nations has essentially been eradicated altogether by medical science, so it doesn’t even apply in our world. When’s the last time you shook hands with someone and their arm came off? Now ask yourself, seriously, why Jesus didn’t simply wave his hand and eliminate leprosy and all diseases and cancers for all time. I believe any person who is loving and caring and supposedly possesses the power of the universe would have gotten it done without a second thought.
