For just a few moments, let's pretend the crucifixion/resurrection scenario is plausible. There's still a problem... Why would God go through so much trouble to artificially inseminate Mary, thereby creating Jesus, who was perfect, and let him die, thereby forgiving the sins of man (I don't understand how an innocent man dying redeems all the sinners) instead of just sending down another flood for some spring cleaning?
