I find it hard to beleive in a wise and loving God who gets so pissed off with his creations that he wipes them out almost completely with a great flood.Later he decides that the descendants of the survivors can only be saved if he has a human son who is tortured to death when surely a nod or snap of the fingers would have sufficed.
