Before I knew better, I truly believed Mark 11:24:
“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” But after years of praying for Jesus to materialize before me and consistently having him pull a no show I concluded either he was a liar or he simply did not exist.

- Either way the outlook isn’t promising for Christians.
