So why should I believe in God?
My parents taught me, that is why
They also told me Santa Claus
Has red-nosed reindeer that can fly

So why should I believe in God?
The bible tells me that it’s true
And crowded in a wooden ark
Ten million species two by two!

So why should I believe in God?
Our priest showed me the holy way
But when a small child died in pain
He lied that prayer would save the day

So why should I believe in God?
Because I feel he’s inside me
That also makes me better than you
How misguided can one man be?

So why should I believe in God?
The marvel of life must be planned
But God is much more marvellous
So was HE made...and by whose hand??
