Early Xians set their god on a flat Earth. When Science proved that a lie, god was then moved to a round Earth which was declared to be the center of the universe. When Galileo exposed that delusion this transient spook was again moved, this time outside of space and time, comicly outside of the universe itself, where it couldn’t be exposed to scientific scrutiny.
Imagine that. Science has the power to chase away an all-powerful god.
