Religion is like a bodyguard with strap-on muscles and a toy gun - reassuring to have around, but useless if you get into a fight.
Therefore there are three types of people - those who are taken in by the bodyguard but get into a fight, fire him, and learn to protect themselves; those who see through the bodyguard and say: "I'll fight my own fights, if they come"; and last those who are taken in by the bodyguard and spend their life relying in an illusion. Which would you rather be - hurt, discerning or gullible?
