Being as it seems normal to them, many Christians don't perceive that their obsession with heaven is compulsive. Many of them overdose on biblical scriptures of their choices until the rest of the world appears evil and heretical ... while they, in their angel wings appear holy to themselves.

They don't see that as compulsion. They see it as glorious.

The bible is fodder for the ego.
