If Christians can accept that the Earth is not 6,000 years old, and that we did not come from Adam and Eve, then they must reject scripture all together. If a single part of the "book of God" has been proven false, then it is prudent to accept it all as false. If you believe in an all knowing, all powerful God, then certainly he cannot make mistakes.
