Many theists only need one word to make them launch into an irrational verbal attack on those who don't believe in their god. But all they know is the negative stereotype associated with that word. It doesn't matter if the person is an asshole or the sweetest person on the planet. They are programmed to respond negatively to that word. That word is Atheist.
