By Agnostic, if you mean a person who believes the ultimate cause of existence is unknowable (not pertaining to a deity or deities), then I support the idea. However, if you are describing a person who believes the existence of a God is unknowable than that idea is a foolish one. I say this because the idea of a deity is invented by one’s imaginative mind, so of course it is impossible to know the existence of one’s imaginations; to the same point where it is impossible to know the existence of the invisible zebra striped red hypo living in my basement.
