Religious people act the same as Toddlers, they pretend that their imaginary friends are helping them fight other people's imaginary friends, they can't share, whine a lot and don't do anything about it besides playing with their imaginary friends some more. When this happens to an actual toddler, a parent typically has to intervene as a reasonable parent should, in the religious scenario I believe that us Atheists need to be the parents and tell these children to stop ruining our lives with their imaginary friends.
