The fact is that there is absolutely no such thing as the "word of god". No gods throughout human history have ever operated a public press, radio station, television network or web site. The "word of god" has always come out of the mouths of humans claiming to speak for the gods. Men, with their personal agendas, thus have always put the words in gods' mouths. I might trust a god - but I certainly don't trust a man.
