If there is a separation of Church and State in the United States, then why must we have to swear an oath to the bible if we testify in court? Why does money have the inscription "In God We Trust" Why are Christians trying to deny the LGBT community from having equal rights? If the Constitution does not does not have an amendment banning "gay marriage", why do we need laws allowing them to marry? If there was no specific verbiage against abortion, why did the Supreme Court have to decree it as legal? The short answer: RELIGION.
